Chelsea have been pipped to the signature of Sport Recife’s 17-year-old Pedro Lima by Wolverhampton. Despite persistent speculation that the Blues had the signing almost sealed, now the Brazilian club made an official statement confirming an agreement with Wolves instead: “Sport Club do Recife announces that it has signed a binding agreement to transfer the economic and federative rights of athlete Pedro Lima to Wolverhampton Wanderers, from England.” (90 dakika)
