Premier League Injuries
The season hasn’t even started yet, and here we are needing to talk about injuries.
There have been some significant developments this summer when it comes to transfers, but even those shiny new players are safe from the injury bug. Since the start of the season is now less than two weeks away, there are some important players who are out, but a few of them might still make it back in time for matchday 1.
Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu are recovering from hamstring and knee injuries, respectively, Brentford’s new striker Igor Thiago has sustained a meniscus tear which required surgery and might keep him out until the new year, while Manchester United have also had rotten luck so far this summer. New centre-back Leny Yoro has suffered a foot injury in their first pre-season game and might miss up to three months, while Rasmus Højlund’s hamstring could keep him out for up to six weeks.
