Fulham 3-1 Brentford
Fulham produced a superb comeback to defeat Brentford 3-1 at Craven Cottage, sealing consecutive Premier League victories for the first time since February.
Despite the Cottagers’ early dominance, it was the Bees who struck first. Mikkel Damsgaard pounced on a misplaced pass before firing past Bernd Leno to give the visitors the lead. Brentford almost doubled their advantage when Kevin Schade latched onto a poor backpass, but he failed to convert.
Fulham responded just before half-time, turning the contest on its head with two goals in as many minutes. Alex Iwobi equalised with a crisp first-time strike before turning provider, delivering a superb assist for Harry Wilson to curl home. Minutes after the restart, Ryan Sessegnon’s dangerous cross was turned into his own net by Ethan Pinnock, extending the hosts’ lead. Rodrigo Muniz thought he had added a fourth, but VAR ruled his strike out for a foul.
Brentford pressed late on through Dango Ouattara, but Fulham comfortably held firm. The result lifted Marco Silva’s side to seventh, while Brentford remain in 17th after three defeats in five matches.
Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea
Manchester United extended their unbeaten Premier League home run against Chelsea to 13 matches with a fiery 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
The drama began early when Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was sent off after fouling Bryan Mbeumo just five minutes in. United capitalised on the numerical advantage, with Bruno Fernandes turning in his 100th goal for the club from close range. Casemiro then doubled the lead before half-time with a header, though the Brazilian was later dismissed for two yellow cards.
Chelsea pushed after the break, and Trevoh Chalobah’s late header gave them hope. However, United held out through seven tense minutes of added time, securing a valuable win. The defeat marked Chelsea’s first league loss of the season, leaving them winless in three matches across all competitions.

The visitors pushed relentlessly in the second half, with new signing Xavi Simons sparking their attack. Their persistence paid off when Mohammed Kudus’ cross was deflected into the net by Jan Paul van Hecke for an own goal. Spurs pressed for a winner, but Brighton held on for a point, leaving both sides frustrated.

Forest were ahead inside two minutes when Neco Williams lashed home a half-cleared corner. Burnley responded strongly, and their pressure paid off when Jaidon Anthony’s effort was forced over the line by Oleksandr Zinchenko for an own goal.
The second half was scrappy, with both sides creating half-chances. Anthony and Igor Jesus came close, while Martin Dúbravka produced key saves for the hosts. In the end, neither side could find a winner, with Forest left to rue missed opportunities and Burnley satisfied with another battling point.
