Los mejores pronósticos de FPL para la 7ª semana
It’s time for Fantasy Premier League managers to shore up and get ready for the typical chaos that follows after an international break. That’s right – gameweek 7 is the last gameweek before prized assets are called up to represent their national teams in the various qualifier tournaments of their continents ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Last time around, we had a few injuries and forced rotations. This time around, the break is coming almost immediately after the gruelling UEFA competitions, meaning that fatigue would have built up. FPL managers are already deploying their chips because of these factors. As you consider your strategy for your squad’s advancement in the game, read our gameweek analysis to guide your decisions.
Análisis de la semana
Gameweek 7’s match schedule looks like this:
- AFC Bournemouth v Fulham
- Leeds United v Tottenham Hotspur
- Arsenal v West Ham United
- Manchester United v Sunderland
- Chelsea v Liverpool
- Aston Villa v Burnley
- Everton v Crystal Palace
- Newcastle United v Nottingham Forest
- Wolverhampton Wanderers - Brighton y Hove Albion
- Brentford v Manchester City
Quite a number of players are at risk of suspension going into week 8. This means that selecting them for your week 7 squad could put your strategy at risk and have you scrambling after the international break. Visit the Official Premier League website to find out which players could put a dent in your plans.
That being said, it is a good weekend to invest in more differential options than you typically would. We believe this is the best strategy to adopt because of the potential bans, the international break, as well as the performances of the “regular” and affordable assets in the season’s first six weeks.
Sunderland, for example, are fifth in the table, which is a place that even they did not expect to be in after six gameweeks on their return to the top flight. Quite a number of their players have performed well, as have players from Bournemouth, led by the brilliant Andoni Iraola, and Everton, who are thriving once again thanks to being led by veteran gaffer David Moyes.
The following section will show you our three top picks for differential transfers that you can consider, followed by our usual top matches for asset selection to help your squad building ahead of the coming weeks.
Best Budget/Differential Picks for Gameweek 7
Here are our best differential picks for gameweek 7 of the 2025/26 FPL season.
Yankuba Minteh (£5.9m) — Brighton
The young forward is owned by only 2.2% of FPL managers, yet is one of the key figures at a Brighton side that is doing very well so far. The Seagulls have started strongly, and Minteh is one of their key men. He has scored once, ranks third at Brighton for xG (1.0), registered 3 shots on target, and leads the team for both FPL assists (2) and attempted assists (8) across the last five games. Brighton have Wolves up next, who have no clean sheets and have conceded 13 goals (the second most in the league).
Chris Richards (£4.5m) — Crystal Palace
Oliver Glasner’s Eagles are one of the dark horses of the season, with many analysts believing they have the potential to pull a Leicester City this season. While the merits of those claims are questioned, we mustn’t ignore their FPL potential. Palace’s defence is one of their strong points. Richards, who features prominently and is owned by just 2.8% of managers, is probably their best performer in FPL. He has already collected 30 FPL points in six starts and has earned defensive contribution points in three of them. Palace are away to Everton to test their defence, which gives FPL managers an opportunity to cash in on the points he could offer.
Omar Alderete (£4.1m) — Sunderland
Sunderland was our reference point for differential picks, meaning that we had to feature at least one of their players. Our choice is Paraguayan Omar Alderete, who has been a key part in making sure that the Black Cats have conceded the second fewest goals this season while keeping the second most clean sheets. The defender has also shown to be a menace from set pieces, which means he is an anytime goal threat as long as Sunderland have a set-piece.
Los mejores partidos para la selección de activos
After careful consideration of each team’s chances, below are the matches where we believe FPL managers can get good returns from and should consider for asset selection.
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest
Nick Pope (£5.0m) and Dan Burn (£5.0m) are Newcastle’s two best defensive FPL assets so far this season. The Magpies have four clean sheets from six games, and with Forest – who will field the likes of Chris Wood (£7.0m), Dan Ndoye (£5.0m) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£6.0m) – this match promises to be very interesting. The inference is that managers should consider it as they build their week 7 squads, of course.
Leeds United v Spurs
Leeds United are not doing too badly, but they’re about to be tested by the Premier League’s joint-third most potent attack in Spurs. Mohammed Kudus (£6.8m), Richarlison (£8.0m), and even defender, Pedro Porro (£5.0m), with his potential to score, assist, and win defensive points, are great options to look at from this game. Anton Stach (£5.0m) remains Leeds’ best FPL asset for the time being, and is also a great differential shout.
Best FPL Players for Week 7
Bukayo Saka (£9.8m) — Arsenal
Bukayo Saka is back and fit, just in time as Arsenal’s title challenge picks up. He remains their greatest threat going forward, but his recent injuries have caused FPL managers to lose some trust in him.
This is also why he is a differential pick going into gameweek 7–only 6% of managers have him in their squads. As you make your squad selections, remember that the lad, when fully fit, is a top-four premium asset. Also, Arsenal have the following fixtures lined up from gameweek 7 to 11:
- Gameweek 7: West Ham (H)
- Gameweek 8: Fulham (A)
- Gameweek 9: Crystal Palace (H)
- Gameweek 10: Burnley (A)
- Gameweek 11: Sunderland (A)
If Saka can stay fit, this run offers huge potential for attacking returns.
Antoine Semenyo (£7.8m) — AFC Bournemouth
There is nothing to be said about Semenyou at this point. If he keeps this up, he could become a premium asset in FPL and probably get a big move to one of the traditional big Premier League sides. The Ghana forward is the main man at Bournemouth and has only blanked once this season. Not having him, especially with their coming run of fixtures, is not the wisest choice.
Ollie Watkins (£8.7m) — Aston Villa
Strikers typically need one goal to start their run. Ollie Watkins seems to have gotten that goal last week. This means that now would be a good time to bring him back into your squad, before he becomes a popular choice. If you’re not convinced, then Burnley visiting Villa Park in gameweek 7 should be enough to at least have him in for this week.
