Los mejores pronósticos de FPL para la 4ª semana
Every international break, managers’ FPL rhythms are ruined. The two biggest issues to deal with are late returns, which force rotations by clubs, and international duty injuries, which happen often. The first one has come and gone, thankfully, but with two more before the end of the year, there is still much to be worried about.
This is why Fantasy Premier League managers must be clinical in their methods and strategies for the upcoming gameweek 4 of the 2025/26 Premier League season. Read our gameweek analysis to help guide your decisions as you prepare to reclaim your FPL glory.
Análisis de la semana
Gameweek 4’s match schedule looks like this:
- Arsenal v Nottingham Forest
- AFC Bournemouth v Brighton and Hove Albion
- Crystal Palace v Sunderland
- Everton v Aston Villa
- Fulham v Leeds United
- Newcastle United v Wolverhampton Wanderers
- West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur
- Brentford - Chelsea
- Burnley v Liverpool
- Manchester City v Manchester United
Reiterating our advice from last week: all experiments should have ended in week 3. From week 4 onwards, it should be about consolidating your place in your mini leagues and on the global standings.
Start your gameweek 4 planning by making sure you find out which players are injured ahead of the week and which players could be rested because of late returns or heavy use by their nations during the break. For the latter, players who have played between 90 and 180 minutes are at risk of being rotated.
Also, at this point, pay attention to the FDR (Fixture Difficulty Ratings) list to select games that could provide valuable assets. This is because you need as many points as you can gather between now and December, after which there will be fewer stoppages or forced rotations due to the international break and other competitions (UEFA club competitions and domestic cups).
Los mejores partidos para la selección de activos
After careful consideration of each team’s chances, below are the matches where we believe FPL managers can get good returns from and should consider for asset selection.
Aston Villa v Everton
This is a match that might not produce so many fireworks, thanks to how both managers have played so far. This means that there are a lot of defensive contribution points up for grabs in the game. However, the usual suspects like Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) are good picks if you’re looking for attacking returns. Jack Grealish (£6.7m) is also enjoying a renaissance under David Moyes.
Fulham v Leeds United
Fulham have a lot of international players and may rotate heavily. However, there is so much to be capitalised upon by FPL managers thanks to their home game in week 4 against Leeds. The likes of Rodrigo Muniz (£5.5m), Josh King (£4.5m) and Emile Smith-Rowe (£5.9m) are good options for managers.
Newcastle v Wolves
Woltemade will be leading the line, and this is a good game for him to get introduced to the Premier League. Wolves will be ripe for the taking for the big German, and the cast who previously supported Alexander Isak (£10.4m) are at his disposal.
Best Budget/Differential Picks for Gameweek 4
Here are our best differential picks for gameweek 4 of the 2025/26 FPL season.
Nick Pope (£5.0m) — Newcastle United
The saga surrounding their top striker is over, and now, they’re looking to build around Nick Woltemade (£7.0m). Meanwhile, Pope, one of the best players in the league, is only on 5% of teams entering into week 4, which is quite the surprise. The Magpies will host Wolves this week, giving you an opportunity to earn good points with the English shotstopper.
Marcos Senesi (£4.6m) — AFC Bournemouth
Along with Sepp van den Berg (£4.5m) of Spurs, and seven other defenders, Senesi has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the new and improved defensive contributions metric for awarding FPL points. Bournemouth are at home to Brighton in week 4, and Senesi is only owned by 5.1% of Directivos de FPL. Our strong suggestion is that you build your squad from the back.
Maxence Lacroix (£5.0m) — Crystal Palace
As you build from the back, consider Maxence Lacroix, who is owned by only 2.3% of managers and yet is one of the highest scorers overall so far this season with 22 points from three gameweeks. Palace is hosting Sunderland in week 4, which gives you a great opportunity to earn more points from unlikely sources than other managers to get ahead.
Best FPL Players for Gameweek 4
Viktor Gyökeres (£9.0m) — Arsenal
Viktor Gyökeres will be coming up against a Nottingham Forest side whose defence has been shaky so far this season. The game is an even better one for him, as the Tricky Trees will be trying to adapt to a totally different football philosophy after two days of training with Ange Postecoglou.
All available data crunchers have him at 52% for anytime goalscorer this week, which is the second highest, ahead of gameweek 4. This is even higher than Mohamed Salah (£14.5m), who faces Burnley.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) — Crystal Palace
The Frenchman has one goal in three games already, which is a decent start for him after he scored 14 league goals last season. Palace will face Sunderland in week 4, and many analysts believe that he could be the MVP of the week, as this is being considered as one of his most promising fixtures in the first half of the season.
He is also Palace’s only route to goals at the moment, as Ismaila Sarr (£6.5m) is currently a doubt, meaning he will get all the opportunities he needs to get his second and maybe third goals of the season. He will also face West Ham in week 5, making him a wise pick.
João Pedro (7.7m) — Chelsea
Chelsea face Brentford, and even though it is a match away from home, the Blues are considered favourites. Right now, the Brazilian is all the hype in FPL, even more than the premium assets. He is the most owned player across Fantasy squads. With two goals and two assists in the league so far, everything flows through him for the Blues, and he has been rewarded greatly by the bonus points system.
