EPL Transfer News: Dibling, Liverpool, Bellingham and More
Southampton Reject Everton’s Bid for Tyler Dibling
Southampton have turned down an initial offer of £27 million from Everton for promising youngster Tyler Dibling, according to The Times. The Championship side have significantly lowered their valuation of the winger since their relegation, having previously demanded as much as £100 million only six months ago.
Reports suggest Everton believe a £35 million bid may now suffice, while Sky Sports News claim Southampton currently value Dibling at £40 million ($52.6 million). Dibling began his journey with Southampton’s academy in 2012 before briefly joining Chelsea in 2022. His west London stint lasted only 34 days, famously telling his Southampton academy coach Jeremy Newton, “I’ve made a mistake. I don’t enjoy it.” Everton are hopeful the deal will go through this summer.
Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and RB Leipzig have all shown interest in Dibling since his senior emergence.
Liverpool’s Isak Pursuit Falters
Liverpool may abandon their pursuit of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak following a rejected opening offer. Sources revealed that the Reds submitted a bid around £110 million, falling short of both Newcastle’s informal asking price of £120 million and their internal valuation of £150 million.
BBC Sport reported that this expected rejection has surprisingly led Liverpool to reconsider their approach entirely, with the club now viewing the move as “unachievable.” Although Isak is understood to be keen on joining Liverpool, Newcastle’s firm stance has cast major doubts on the transfer materialising this summer.
Arsenal Risk Missing Out on Eberechi Eze
Arsenal are in danger of missing the deadline to trigger Eberechi Eze’s release clause in his Crystal Palace contract, a significant setback in their bid to secure the midfielder. According to BBC Sport, Eze’s contract includes a release clause worth £67.5 million, with £60 million guaranteed and the remainder in add-ons.
However, this clause is due to expire “two weeks before the start of the new season.” If Palace consider their August 10 Community Shield clash with Liverpool as the season opener, then Arsenal have already missed their opportunity. Even if the club references their first league match against Chelsea, Arsenal are still likely to face the need to offer a higher amount.
Manchester United Join Isak Race
Despite Alexander Isak’s preference to join Liverpool, Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the Newcastle striker’s availability, as per Florian Plettenberg. However, with Liverpool not intending to submit a second offer, United’s interest may represent a new twist in the transfer saga.
Ibrahima Konaté Committed to Liverpool
In more positive news for Liverpool fans, centre-back Ibrahima Konaté appears committed to staying at Anfield. According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, Konaté is willing to extend his stay at the club, provided a new contract can be agreed amid interest from Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola Eyes Jude Bellingham
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly so determined to sign Jude Bellingham that he is willing to include Erling Haaland in a potential swap deal with Real Madrid. This bold claim, reported by Defensa Central, underscores City’s strong interest in the England midfielder.
Antony Likely to Leave Man Utd Despite Team Backing
Despite backing from new Manchester United signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo—who reportedly believe Antony would thrive under Ruben Amorim’s system—the Brazilian winger is still expected to seek a move away from Old Trafford, according to Ben Jacobs.
Premier League Clubs Target Randal Kolo Muani
Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are all chasing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, Le Parisien reports. Juventus have also tried to re-sign the forward on loan, but those efforts have so far been unsuccessful.

West Ham Table Offer for John Victor
West Ham United have submitted a bid worth just under £7 million for Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor, reports Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old is also attracting interest from Everton and Manchester United.
Tottenham Move for Ronald Araujo
Tottenham Hotspur are attempting to sign Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo, according to Fichajes. Barça are open to selling the Uruguayan but are expected to demand a substantial fee to part ways with the defender.
Arsenal’s Tchouaméni Bid Rejected
