EPL Players at Copa America 2024 – Day 3
Day 2 of the tournament only had one game, a 0-0 draw between Peru and Chile that saw no Prem players involved. Day 3 was a different story, as we were treated to two games. As part of our أخبار الدوري الإنجليزي تقرير كوبا أمريكا، إليك تقرير عن أداء لاعبي الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز المشاركين في البطولة.
Ecuador 1-2 Venezuela
It was a sizeable surprise win for Venezuela in Santa Clara, who managed to overcome an underperforming Ecuador team that played with 10 men since the 22nd minute due to a red card to Enner Valencia.
Two EPL players were involved, and both for Ecuador, in the shapes of Moises Caicedo and Jeremy Sarmiento. The latter also scored their team’s only goal of the game just before half time. He was also booked and subbed off around the hour mark.
