CONFIRMED: Raheem Sterling will be playing on a season-long loan for Arsenal this term, after being deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea. This transfer required a deal sheet to be submitted to the Premier League in order to be completed after the deadline. Rumour has it that he had to agree to a pay cut in order for the deal to go through, and that the two clubs are paying equal shares of his wages for the duration of the loan. CONFIRMED: Another player leaving Chelsea on a loan deal is Armando Broja, who will be hoping to get over his spotty injury record and make an impact at Everton. The striker is currently nursing a foot issue, so will be unavailable for the next couple of weeks. The Toffees will have the option to make the move permanent next summer. CONFIRMED: Brentford have sold star striker Ivan Toney to Al-Ahli for a reported £35 million, after months of speculation about his future. He only had one year left of his contract with the Bees. (Brentford official announcement)
CONFIRMED: Following the late exit of James Ward-Prowse, West Ham moved quickly to sign PSG midfielder Carlos Soler on a season-long loan. (West Ham official announcement)
