2024/25 Ball Launched
The Premier League has launched the newest Nike Flight ball for this season, to be used starting August 16. It includes graphic elements from previous balls used in the competition and implements the most up-to-date Aerowsculpt technology. You can check it out by clicking here.

EPL Transfers
Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi has signed a new contract, committing the next five years of his career to the Cherries. (Bournemouth official announcement)
Arsenal have secured the transfer of Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford, who will be joining the Gunners’ academy setup. (Arsenal official announcement)
Southampton forward Che Adams will be undergoing a medical in Italy today prior to joining Torino on a free transfer, after his contract with the Saints expired at the end of last month. (Sky Sports Italy)
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has stated that he wants to keep “highly interesting player” Scott McTominay at the club amid speculation of interest from other clubs this summer. (Sky Sports)
Also from Sky Sports we find out that Everton midfielder Amadou Onana is undergoing a medical today ahead of his move to Aston Villa. The transfer fee is understood to be £50 million.
In order to get a discount on the fee quoted by Crystal Palace (£70 million) for Marc Guehi, Arsenal are ready to offer a player-plus-cash deal which would see them part with roughly £40 million and Eddie Nketiah to get the centre-back to north London. (Daily Express)
Having been linked with an exit from Brentford all summer, it seems like Ivan Toney won’t be a cheap acquisition for any interested club. Bees’ manager Thomas Frank told Sky Sports that he wants his star striker to stay: “I would be more than happy if he stayed with us. He’s a goalscorer and that’s very good to have in your team so if you want to buy him, it’s expensive.”
Chelsea and Tottenham are both interested in bringing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa to the Premier League, as per Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool and Tottenham are preparing a bid for Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze. The Eagles want at least £50 million for their player.
While being close to welcoming Onana, Aston Villa are bracing for the exit of Moussa Diaby, who is on the verge of joining Al-Ittihad for about £50.5 million. The length of his contract will be five years. (Sky Sports)

GOAL Brazil claims that Manchester United are willing to pay £17 million for Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios. They have been impressed by his performances at this year’s Copa America.
Despite reports saying that a deal has been agreed, the negotiations between Manchester City and Al-Ittihad for the transfer of Kevin De Bruyne are not finalised, according to talkSPORT.
