Latest Premier League News and Transfer Rumours
Here is our EPL transfers and news round-up from today’s papers.
Klopp Continues with Liverpool
Two months after Jürgen Klopp left his position as manager of Liverpool, he continues to be tied to the Merseyside outfit as he has agreed to become an honorary ambassador for the LFC Foundation, which is the club’s official charity organisation.
He has long been associated with the LFC Foundation, always contributing during his nine-year stint at Liverpool. Even after his last game in charge against Wolves in May, he donated a number of items worn and signed by him for a fundraising auction, which raked in £40,000 in seven days.
Speaking about his role as LFC Foundation honorary ambassador, Klopp said: “The LFC Foundation does an incredible job in the community, both in the Liverpool city region and beyond.
“I’m really proud to continue my work with them and be named the first-ever LFC Foundation honorary ambassador. I look forward to seeing what we can do with that, now that I have more time on my hands.”
