Fresh EPL Transfer Rumours
We’re almost there, everyone. On Sunday, matchday 38 of the 2023-24 Premier League season takes place. After that, while the window for buying and selling players will not yet be officially open, the rumour mill will certainly go into overdrive.
So what are we hearing for now, as a warm-up?
Manchester United have confirmed that defender Raphael Varane will be leaving the club in the summer, in an official statement. (source)
Spanish outlet El Nacional reports that Manchester United are ready to offer Bruno Fernandes to Barcelona as part of a swap deal for Frenkie De Jong. The Dutch midfielder remains a top target for manager Erik ten Hag.
However, Manchester Evening News informs us that Manchester United players are in doubt about the captain’s future at the club, as there is also interest from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. As for Fernandes himself, he is open to a move away, but would be happy to stay at the club as well.
Also involving United and Barcelona, HITC tells us that the Catalan team are looking to leverage the Red Devils’ interest in Vitor Roque in order to sign Mason Greenwood this summer.
TBR Football understands that, with Xavi ready to part ways with Raphinha, London teams Arsenal and Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign the winger for £50 million.
Toni Kroos’ contract with Real Madrid is expiring this summer and Manchester City are understood to be preparing an offer for the German. (Defensa Central)
TEAMTalk is saying that Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to do business with local rivals Manchester City. The target is right-back Yan Couto, currently on loan at Girona. City are looking for £35 million for the Brazilian.
And Football Transfers reports that Arsenal are also interested in Couto.
Liverpool are reportedly ready to trigger the £85 million release clause in the contract between Mohammed Kudus and West Ham. (Ghanasoccernet)
And apparently Kudus is not the only winger that Liverpool are intent on. The Star touts the Reds’ interest in Anthony Gordon, who is valued at close to £100 million by Newcastle United. The Salah to Saudi Arabia rumours will only get more intense if one of these deals advances.
Tosin Adarabioyo’s contract with Fulham is set to expire soon, and Newcastle are leading the race to sign him. (Mail)
Fabrizio Romano tells us that Real Madrid will try to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold next summer if he does not renew his contract with Liverpool. The deal would then take place without a transfer fee, as his contract runs until 2025.

Journalist Simon Phillips understands that Brentford might sell star striker Ivan Toney for £40 million this summer, with Chelsea still very much interested in the player.
Speaking of Chelsea, the Blues have joined Manchester United in the race to bring Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo to the Premier League. The price is understood to be around £85 million, and there is competition from Bayern Munich for his signature. (Fichajes)
One centre-back that Manchester United might not be able to get is Jarrad Branthwaite, as Everton are rather looking to sell Amadou Onana instead, in order to boost their finances, according to Football Insider. Even in this case, the Manchester club is willing to bid £55 million to tempt Everton into selling Branthwaite. (Daily Mail)
CaughtOffside tells us that both Arsenal and Manchester City have contacted Bruno Guimaraes, as he reportedly prepares to leave Newcastle this summer.
In what would be an epic return, Aston Villa are ready to enter the race for Jack Grealish, as there is a chance of him leaving Manchester City. (Football Insider)
Although Pochettino is desperate to keep Conor Gallagher, TEAMtalk are saying that the player is still on the transfer list at Chelsea. London rivals Tottenham are still credited with an interest in the midfielder.

Spanish publication El Chiringuito reports that Real Madrid had a £103 million offer on the table from Liverpool for Rodrygo, but they rejected it instantly, as they have no interest in selling the forward.
Lastly, Ben Jacobs tells us that, due to the uncertainty surrounding Miguel Almiron and his future at the club, Newcastle are pushing hard to bring Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to St. James’ Park this summer.
