Latest EPL Transfer Rumours

We are almost there. Matchday 38 takes place next Sunday, and, while the window will not officially open just yet, the transfer speculations will be going into overdrive.

You can count on EPLNews to deliver to you the newest rumblings from the transfer front already. Our coverage will intensify in the near future as well, to keep up with all the rumours and news that will break once the Premier League season ends.

So what has been going on the past couple of days? Let’s dive in and find out.

After Darwin Núñez kicked up some dust by deleting all Liverpool-related posts on Instagram and visiting international teammate Ronald Araújo in Spain, there is plenty of speculation regarding his future. Spanish outlet Mas Que Pelotas informs us that Jorge Mendes, the Uruguayan striker’s agent, is pushing for a move to Barcelona, where he has ties with president Joan Laporta. For their part, it is understood that Liverpool are looking for about £73 million to let Núñez go.

In other Liverpool news, Het Laatste Nieuws from Belgium reports that the Reds are looking to bring in PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko. The player is also on the radar at Arsenal, Brentford and Dortmund.

Manchester United are pushing to sign Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer for £52 million this summer, according to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb.

Casemiro seems certain to head for the exit door at Manchester United once the season comes to a close, and the Red Devils are poised to replace him with Benfica’s Joao Neves. (Record – Portugal)

Also from Benfica, and also to Manchester United, centre-back Antonio Silva might be on the move. His release clause stands at £87 million. (GIVEMESPORT)

Ajax 18-year-old centre-back Jorrel Hato is believed to be a priority signing this summer for Arsenal, according to Fabrizio Romano.

On to Chelsea and goalkeepers. TEAMtalk tells us that their interest in signing Everton’s Jordan Pickford has been complicated by Arsenal, who are looking at the 30-year-old to replace Aaron Ramsdale. On the same topic, talkSPORT reports that the Blues are also interested in Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez. Watch this space.

TBR Football are saying that Manchester City seem to be losing patience with waiting for a verdict on West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta’s betting investigation. If there is no conclusion soon, the Cityzens might move on to other targets.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Victor Osimhen is prepared to snub PSG’s interest in him and is focused on joining either Arsenal or Chelsea this summer.

As it is understood that Arsenal are looking to bring in at least one midfielder as well, 90min informs us that the club’s top targets in this department are Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes and Real Sociedad’s Spain international Martin Zubimendi. The Brazilian reportedly has a release clause worth £100 million, which expires at the end of June. Things might be more complicated with Zubimendi though, as Sociedad manager’s Imanol Alguacil has no doubts that the player “is staying with us”.

German newspaper kicker reports that Liverpool are also looking at Mohamed Amoura, a Wolfsburg forward currently on loan at Union Saint-Gilloise. The Algerian has registered 23 goals and 7 assists this season, getting on the scoresheet against the Reds during their UEL group stage game in Belgium. He could be available for £17 million.

Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners might also end up on Merseyside, but Football Insider insists that Juventus have a better chance of landing the Dutchman than Liverpool.

From the same source, Football Insider, we learn that Eberechi Eze’s contract with Crystal Palace does not contain a ‘straightforward release clause’, so Manchester City and Spurs will have to spend £60 million or more to land the winger.

After all these rumours about players coming to Arsenal, you must be wondering who will be leaving the club. The Mirror answers that question with a list of 7 names: Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson.

In some managerial news, Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, but is keen to stay at Selhurst Park. (Sky Germany)
