Premier League January 2025 Transfer Window: Every Club’s Ins and Outs

The January 2025 transfer window saw plenty of movement across the Premier League as clubs strengthened their squads and offloaded players to balance the books. Today EPLNews brings you a full breakdown of the ins and outs for each club.

Arsenal

Ins: None
Outs: Josh Robinson (undisclosed, Wigan), Marquinhos (loan, Cruzeiro), Ayden Heaven (free, Manchester United), Maldini Kacurri (loan, Bromley)

Arsenal had a quiet window with no incoming players, instead focusing on offloading young talents through loans and permanent deals.

Aston Villa

Ins: Donyell Malen (£21.1m, Borussia Dortmund), Andres Garcia (£5.9m, Levante), Marcus Rashford (loan, Manchester United), Marco Asensio (loan, Paris Saint-Germain), Axel Disasi (loan, Chelsea)
Outs: Lewis Dobbin (loan, Norwich), Jaden Philogene (£20m, Ipswich), Diego Carlos (£8.45m, Fenerbahce), Tommi O’Reilly (loan, MK Dons), Emiliano Buendia (loan, Bayer Leverkusen), Louie Barry (loan, Hull City), Joe Gauci (loan, Barnsley), Jhon Duran (£64m, Al Nassr), Kosta Nedeljkovic (loan, RB Leipzig), Sil Swinkels (loan, Bristol Rovers), Samuel Iling-Junior (loan, Middlesbrough)

Aston Villa was one of the busiest clubs, securing high-profile loans and signings, including Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, while cashing in on Jhon Duran’s £64m move to Al Nassr.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth balanced new signings with outgoing loans, bringing in young talents while sending Billing and Aarons to top European clubs on temporary deals.

Brentford

Brentford opted for minimal incoming business, securing only Kayode on loan, while sending multiple players out to gain experience.

Chelsea focused on trimming their squad, loaning out several key names, including Ben Chilwell and Joao Felix, while securing a permanent sale for Cesare Casadei.

Crystal Palace

Everton had a quiet window, bringing in Carlos Alcaraz on loan while allowing two young players to leave the club.

Fulham January 2025 Transfers

Fulham opted for a quiet transfer window, with only young forward Olly Sanderson departing on loan to Harrogate Town to gain more first-team experience.

Ipswich January 2025 Transfers

Southampton took an active approach in January, bringing in young talent and experienced players on loan. Defensive reinforcements arrived in the form of Joachim Kayi Sanda, while Victor Udoh adds depth to the squad. The club also secured free transfers for Welington and Rento Takaoka. Several young players were sent out on loan, including goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu and forward Ben Brereton-Diaz, to gain valuable playing time.

Tottenham added depth to their squad with promising signings, including Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague and Yang Min-hyeok from Gangwon. The arrival of Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel on loan will provide immediate first-team impact. Several young players, including Alfie Dorrington and Will Lankshear, were sent out on loan to continue their development.

West Ham January 2025 Transfers

Ins: James Ward-Prowse (loan terminated, Nottingham Forest), Evan Ferguson (loan, Brighton)

West Ham focused on strengthening their squad by recalling James Ward-Prowse from his loan at Nottingham Forest. The addition of Evan Ferguson on loan from Brighton adds firepower to their attack. Maxwel Cornet and Michael Forbes moved out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Outs: Chem Campbell (loan, Reading), Luke Cundle (£1m, Millwall), Tawanda Chirewa (loan, Huddersfield)

Wolves made significant investments in their squad, with Emmanuel Agbadou, Nasser Djiga, and Marshall Munetsi arriving to bolster their midfield and defence. Departures included Luke Cundle’s permanent move to Millwall and loan spells for Chem Campbell and Tawanda Chirewa.
