Transfer Deadline Day Update

We are still waiting for some of the bigger moves to be confirmed and we will bring you the news as it happens. In the meantime, here’s what has transpired over the last couple of hours.
CONFIRMED: Manchester United have announced the signing of 18-year-old Malian midfielder Sekou Kone from Guidars FC. He will be joining United’s academy. (Manchester United official announcement)
CONFIRMED: Liverpool have loaned out midfielder Stefan Bajčetić to RB Salzburg for the 2024/25 season, joining former Reds assistant manager Pepijn Linders (now head coach of the Austrian team) and fellow Reds loanee Bobby Clark. (Liverpool official announcement)
CONFIRMED: Newcastle’s Harrison Ashby has gone out on a season-long loan to QPR. (Newcastle official announcement)
Fabrizio Romano says that the loan move with option to buy that we have mentioned earlier for West Ham’s Maxwel Cornet to Southampton is “almost completed”.
CONFIRMED: Crystal Palace welcomed Maxence Lacroix on a five-year deal from German side Wolfsburg. The rumoured transfer fee is £18 million. (Crystal Palace official announcement)
As Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is close to joining Crystal Palace, it seems like there is a domino effect. Palace have made Odsonne Edouard available for loan, opening the door for Leicester to bring him in. Watch this space!
CONFIRMED: Nottingham Forest are preparing for their future, not just their present. They have announced a season-long loan with option to buy for 19-year-old forward Kristian Fletcher from DC United. (Nottingham Forest official announcement)
And yet again we turn to south London and Crystal Palace, as they have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on a loan for this season, without any option or obligation to buy.
