Latest Premier League News and Transfer Rumours

Here is our EPL transfers and news round-up from today’s papers.

EPL Transfers

Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen for a reported fee of £12.8 million. His contract with the Cherries extends over six years. (Bournemouth official announcement)

23-year-old Jake O’Brien has signed a four-year deal with Everton, completing his move from Olympique Lyon. The French club have confirmed that the Toffees paid £16.4 million for the defender, while Lyon retains a 10% sell-on fee. (Everton official announcement)

Chelsea have completed the signing of Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen for a reported fee of £20 million. He has signed a seven-year deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit. (Chelsea official announcement)

In another bit of confirmed news, Ben Brereton Diaz joins Southampton from Villarreal on a four-year contract. He played in the Premier League last season, on loan from the Spanish club to Sheffield United. The transfer fee paid by Southampton is believed to be around £7 million. (Southampton official announcement)

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross has arrived in Germany ahead of a scheduled medical, part of his expected move to Borussia Dortmund. (Sky Sports Germany)

Olympique Marseille have submitted a second offer to Arsenal for Eddie Nketiah, this one worth around £17 million. All parties are said to be “cautiously optimistic” about a deal being reached soon, according to Sky Sports.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Liverpool are showing “concrete interest” in Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, despite a deal collapsing earlier in the window as the Reds did not want to include Jarell Quansah in a player-plus-cash deal. Newcastle want to keep the player and it might take a bid of over £80 million to change their minds.

Aston Villa will need to fork out at least £45 million if they want to sign Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix this summer, according to Directo Gol.

Once again with Sky Sports, we learn that West Ham might drop the idea of bringing in Jhon Duran from Aston Villa and are closing in on a deal with Borussia Dortmund for German striker Niklas Fullkrug. Another alternative for the Hammers is Villarreal forward Alexander Sorloth. A deal for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also in its advanced stages.

Liverpool are keen on Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer, but not on paying the Italian club’s asking price of £50.5 million. As of now, Todo Fichajes tells us that they are ready to submit a player-plus-cash deal for Bremer.

Fabrizio Romano reports that only “small details” are left to sort in an agreement between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid to take Conor Gallagher to La Liga.

Adrien Rabiot has posted a farewell message to Juventus fans as it is now clear that he will not be staying in Turin. TEAMtalk claims that he wants to join Manchester United.

Once more with Sky Sports Germany, a report claims that both Aston Villa and Chelsea have made “concrete offers” to Hoffenheim for Maximilian Beier, who is also on the radar of Bayer Leverkusen.

And in another bit involving Aston Villa and a striker, the Daily Express says that Villa are aware of a stall in contract negotiations between Crystal Palace and Jean-Philippe Mateta and are considering offering him a way out of Selhurst Park.
