Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Amadou Onana from Everton. The 22-year-old joins them on a deal reportedly worth £50 million. (Aston Villa official announcement)
Chelsea have signed teenage left-back Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United on a six-year contract. The transfer fee is rumoured to be around £8.5 million. (Chelsea official announcement)
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has left Tottenham to join Olympique Marseille on an initial loan deal which includes an obligation to buy the player for £17 million next year. (Tottenham official announcement)
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has publicly announced that Kevin De Bruyne will not be leaving for Saudi Arabia this summer. (Sky Sports)
The Takefusa Kubo to Liverpool rumours are picking up more pace, as Reds’ midfielder and Kubo’s international teammate Wataru Endo mentioned the name of the Real Sociedad winger as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah in an interview with Japanese outlet ABEMA Sports Time.
Apart from a possible deal for Manuel Ugarte, there are reports of more contact between Manchester United and PSG, as the French club is interested in both Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes, according to L’Equipe.
Chelsea centre-back Malang Sarr could soon exit the club by way of a contract termination, while Foot Mercato claims that the player has already agreed terms to join French side Lens.
ESPN says that Manchester City will only analyse offers in excess of £40 million for Ederson, amid plenty of interest in him from Saudi Pro League teams all summer long. And from Sky Sports Italy we learn that, if Ederson does leave, City will try to replace him with PSG goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma.
And while on the subject of City, the Daily Star tells us that they have not given up on Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, after they had been linked with him earlier in the window. However, while the Magpies value the Brazilian at £100 million, City are not willing to meet that price, but they believe an agreement could be reached with a player-on-loan-plus-cash offer of £80 million and a loan for either Rico Lewis or Oscar Bobb.
Sky Sports Germany reports that Manchester United and West Ham could butt heads over the transfer of Bayern Munich left-back Noussair Mazraoui this summer. The Bavarian side would part ways with the player for about £19 million.
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has agreed personal terms with Olympique Marseille as he looks for more play time, according to L’Equipe.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Everton are planning to offer a new deal to Jarrad Branthwaite in an attempt to block his transfer to Manchester United.
Gazzetta dello Sport expects the transfer of Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal to be announced very soon, as a £42 million deal is being finalised.
Even ahead of the move for Kubo, Spanish outlet SPORT says that Arne Slot’s first signing in charge of Liverpool could be Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
