West Ham are believed to be very close to securing the signature of Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran, according to Sky Sports. Villa want £40 million for their player and the Hammers are reluctant to pay that amount, but there is a belief that a deal can be made for £30 million.
Spanish outlet El Nacional claims that, due to concerns over his future at Anfield, Liverpool have offered Atletico Madrid the chance to sign Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk. Replacing the captain on Merseyside might be Sporting centre-back Goncalo Inacio, if a report from CaughtOffside is to be believed.
Football Insider tells us that Chelsea are considering a swoop for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, and they are willing to offer Conor Gallagher in a player-plus-cash deal.
Portuguese publication Record says that both Arsenal and Aston Villa are interested in Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix. After his loan to Barcelona last season, Atleti are not keen on letting him go out on a temporary deal again.
After Bayern Munich acquired Michael Olise earlier in the window, the future of Serge Gnabry in Bavaria is said to be unclear. Newcastle United are thus considering making a £40 million offer for the German international, according to the Mirror.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on Girona forward Viktor Tsygankov, whose release clause is £25.2 million, as per a report from AS.
Football Insider informs us of another possible striker move in the Premier League, with West Ham making an enquiry about the availability of Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City will be holding more talks with Julian Alvarez once he returns from international duty. The Argentine wants more playing time, which might be difficult for Guardiola to offer, but the club are also not willing to let him leave.
Also concerning Manchester City, SPORT says that Joao Cancelo has rejected offers from other clubs in order to rejoin Barcelona on loan for another season.
In a complicated scenario, Everton might offer a new contract to Dele Alli. He had initially joined the Toffees on a free transfer from Tottenham in January 2022, but the deal included performance-related fees due to Spurs. Now that his contract with Everton has expired, they can negotiate a new deal with the player, without having to pay anything to Tottenham. This all hinges on whether Dele can prove his fitness over the summer, as he continues to train with Everton despite not being under contract. (90min)
