EPL Transfers

Amid reports of a fresh Manchester United bid for Jarrad Branthwaite, news has now emerged that the £50 million proposal in question has now also been rejected by Everton. This comes after last week’s initial bid of £35 million. The Merseysiders are holding firm to the £70 million valuation they have of their player. (Fabrizio Romano)

After sealing the permanent transfer of David Raya, Arsenal are now preparing for life after their backup keeper Aaron Ramsdale leaves the club, with plenty of sources linking him with a move away. The Gunners have now approached Wolves with a view to buy goalkeeper Dan Bentley, who is also a backup at his current club. Wolves, for their part, are not keen on selling him, aware of the difficulties that come with getting a new backup goalie. (The Athletic)

Manchester United face competition from rivals City and Barcelona to complete a £38 million move for PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte, according to French outlet Le10Sport.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims that Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has personally contacted Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners about joining the Reds this summer, but the player has already committed to joining Juventus.

Due to interest from Al-Ahli in Raheem Sterling, Chelsea are now ready to submit a £25 million bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi to replace the Englishman. (CaughtOffside)

Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe is close to a transfer to Fulham, as the Cottagers will submit a third and final bid soon, which is expected to seal the deal. (TEAMtalk)

Football Insider tells us that West Ham is determined to keep hold of Mohammed Kudus this summer and will not entertain any offers for him.

Spanish newspaper Marca claims that Brazilian midfielder Arthur has come up on the radars of Everton and Newcastle after his loan spell at Fiorentina. It looks like the Juventus man might get a second chance in the Premier League after an ill-fated spell at Liverpool.

Tottenham will attempt a player-plus-cash deal for Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, with Giovani Lo Celso moving in the opposite direction. (Sky Sports)
