Pre-Season Fixtures and Tours
There will be plenty of Premier League action to savour for fans in the USA, as the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and others will be travelling across the pond to play against each other and other top level opposition.
Naturally, there are pre-season fixtures set up for their home stadiums as well, for dates closer to the start of 2024/25 season.
Some of the most important games include Arsenal vs Manchester United on July 27 in Los Angeles, Arsenal vs Liverpool four days later in Philadelphia, Manchester City vs Barcelona on July 30 in Orlando, Liverpool vs Manchester United on August 3 in South Carolina, Chelsea vs Real Madrid on August 6 in Charlotte and others.

EPL Transfers
Aston Villa have announced the signing of Ian Maatsen from Chelsea. The left-back joins the Birmingham club on a permanent basis after spending last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. The rumoured transfer fee is £37.5 million. (Aston Villa official announcement)
Southampton have extended the contract of long-term club servant Alex McCarthy. The 34-year-old goalkeeper will spend the next two years at St. Mary’s. (Southampton official announcement)
Chelsea have also confirmed the departure of Hakim Ziyech, who has now completed a permanent transfer to Galatasaray after playing for them last season on loan. (Chelsea official announcement)
A report from The Athletic informs us that Manchester United are “seriously considering” a move of Bayern Munich centre-back Matthijs de Ligt as they also continue pursuing Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. The club might end up signing both defenders after last season’s injury crisis in the department, as well as Raphael Varane’s exit from the club.
Regarding potential further departures from Manchester United, TEAMtalk tells us that the club have gotten in touch with EPL rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in an attempt to offload Jadon Sancho this summer. Part-owner Jim Ratcliffe demands a fee of £40 million for the winger.
