Latest Premier League News and Transfer Rumours
Here is our EPL transfers and news round-up from today’s papers.
England Through to EURO 2024 Quarter-Finals
While the Three Lions topping group C at the EUROs is not particularly surprising, what left most people scratching their heads was the level of performance on show by some of the Premier League’s biggest stars while playing for their country.
After the opening day win, England only managed two draws against Denmark and Slovenia to gather five points and finish first, but the games themselves certainly have not been as entertaining as one would have expected.
Declan Rice also hinted at unfounded criticism from pundits and fans, and we can safely assume that the entire squad will be hoping for better showings in the knockout rounds of EURO 2024.
