Newcastle are not going to pursue a move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin after all, as a deal for £40 million is proving too costly for them. Chelsea’s striker search has seen them back away from potential moves for Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy, as they believe that Barcelona’s Marc Guiu or Lille’s Jonathan David would be cheaper options.
