New Brighton Coach Incoming?
While not yet official, all signs are pointing towards Fabian Hürzeler (currently at St. Pauli, in Germany) becoming Brighton and Hove Albion’s new head coach. Their position has been empty since the departure of Roberto De Zerbi at the end of last season.
Hürzeler guided St. Pauli to promotion back to the Bundesliga for the first time in 12 years. Talks are continuing between him and the Seagulls at the moment, but a UK work permit application submitted by the club has already been approved.
If the 31-year-old does take charge at the Amex Stadium, he will become the youngest ever coach in the Premier League.
