Everton Statement
Everton’s deadline for 777 Partners to buy the club has expired today and the club have released a statement in which they acknowledge that fact. They also go on to say that they will “assess all options” regarding the club’s future ownership.

Premier League Match of the Season Vote
The poll for the EPL 2023/24 Match of the season is now open on the official Premier League website.
There are 8 goal-laden choices, with the most notable ones being Chelsea 4-4 Manchester City, Chelsea 4-3 Manchester United and Liverpool 4-3 Fulham.

EPL Transfers
Liverpool are preparing to ‘make an attempt’ to secure Mohammed Kudus’ services. They see the West Ham forward as the ideal successor of Mohamed Salah. Kudus reportedly has a release clause in his contract worth £85 million, but it only comes into effect in 2025. Liverpool want to exploit the situation surrounding the Hammers and a potential Lucas Paqueta suspension by making a cut-price offer for Kudus. (Football Transfers)
Speaking of Liverpool and wingers, the Reds have ‘expressed an interest’ in Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, according to L’Equipe. In an interview with the same publication, the player himself revealed that he wants to compete at a higher level: “I spent five seasons at Brentford, in a club that knew how to help me grow and take a step forward. But yes, I want to play in the biggest competitions, in the best clubs. […] It’s still enticing to see some big teams interested in me. We’ll see.”
Football365 reports that new Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany wants to make Arsenal duo Oleksandr Zinchenko and Albert Sambi Lokonga his first 2 signings for the German club.
From Fabrizio Romano we find out that Miguel Pinho, the agent of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, has held talks with multiple top-level European clubs. While Fernandes has stated before that he would like to stay with the club, it is reported that part-owners INEOS are not entirely convinced that the Portuguese is the right man to lead United.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are confident of convincing Crystal Palace star Michael Olise to move to Stamford Bridge instead of joining Manchester United.
Gianluca Di Marzio is saying that Chelsea have ‘cooled their interest’ in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, which has opened the door for Arsenal to make a move for the Nigerian.
