McKenna Extends Ipswich Stay
Kieran McKenna has signed a new 4-year contract to remain in charge of Ipswich after securing back-to-back promotions to take the Tractor Boys to the Premier League for the first time in 22 years.
The 38-year-old was a candidate for the vacant jobs at Brighton and Chelsea, as well as being considered by Manchester United to replace Erik ten Hag, but the new contract ends speculations, at least for the time being.
Guardiola Decision by December?
ESPN reports that Manchester City will ask manager Pep Guardiola for a decision regarding his future by Christmas.
As he has only 1 year left on his contract, City would like him to sign an extension, but he will be given the choice to decide when and how he would like to exit the club.
The urgency about the decision is due to City being aware of how difficult the Catalan coach will be to replace and they want to have as much time as possible to prepare a plan and assess potential replacements.

According to L’Equipe, French side AS Monaco are ready to take striker Armando Broja off Chelsea’s hands, but they are not willing to match the £50 million valuation set by the Blues in January.

While Fabrizio Romano reports that the Sunderland midfielder is in talks with Crystal Palace for a transfer, The Athletic is saying that Brentford are also chasing the 18-year-old.
