As the Premier League season edges closer to its thrilling conclusion, anticipation builds for the summer transfer window, sparking widespread speculation and excitement among fans and clubs alike. Let’s delve into the latest scoops involving top EPL clubs during this upcoming ‘silly season’.

Manchester United Transfer Rumours: A Crucial Summer Ahead

Manchester United has set sights on bolstering their squad, with Jean-Clair Todibo and Benfica’s prodigy, Joao Neves, making headlines. Todibo, a French international impressing at Nice, could be a bargain at £40 million, a significant focus for both Manchester United and Tottenham (Talksport).

Meanwhile, United’s ambition shines through their prepared bid of €100 million (£85.6 million) for Neves, marking it as a pivotal window for the club (Portuguese outlet Record).

Daily Mirror reported that Manchester United will allow Christian Eriksen to leave the club in the summer, after his admission that he is ‘unhappy’ with his playing time this season.

Arsenal‘s Strategic Moves: Kimmich Inquiry and More

Arsenal‘s quest for reinforcements sees them approaching Bayern Munich for Joshua Kimmich, highlighting Mikel Arteta’s admiration for the versatile German, though Bayern appears reluctant to negotiate (footballtransfers.com).

The Gunners also show keen interest in Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, with scouting competition from Bayern Munich (Fabrizio Romano).

In the face of interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham, Porto are bracing for a raid on two of their top talents, forward Evanilson (24) and midfielder Alan Varela (22), as per HITC.

Arsenal’s search for a top striker has brought Alexander Isak to their attention, as 90min understand. However, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has no intention to let his Swedish star leave the club this summer.

Mail Sport revealed that Newcastle are exploring bringing Aaron Ramsdale on a permanent transfer from Arsenal this summer. The fee is reported to be around £30million. The goalkeeper is expected to reach a decision on his future after England’s involvement at Euro 2024 is concluded, amid interest from Premier League clubs and mainland Europe.

Liverpool‘s Managerial Hunt and Player Contracts

The departure of Jürgen Klopp has Liverpool in search of a new manager, with Xabi Alonso and Roberto De Zerbi among the speculated candidates. However, following the Spaniard’s recent public admission that he will continue at Bayer Leverkusen, The Athletic understand that De Zerbi is also ‘unlikely’ to be Liverpool’s top choice.

Furthermore, Liverpool fans can rejoice as Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly eager to sign a new £9 million-a-year deal with the Reds (Football Insider).

Notable Transfers and Interests Across the League

From Crystal Palace‘s Adam Wharton catching Chelsea‘s eye (footballtransfers.com) to the potential coaching shifts involving Liverpool, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich eyeing Sporting’s Ruben Amorim, the transfer window is ripe with possibilities.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and West Ham are all vying for Brentford‘s Ivan Toney, showcasing the intense competition for top talent (Football Insider).

In another bit of news from Football Insider, we learn that Everton are looking for £60million to let Amadou Onana join West Ham United.

Strategic Moves and Future Prospects

Although Jim Ratcliffe, newly-minted Manchester United co-owner, has hinted to the possibility of Mason Greenwood rejoining the Red Devils in the summer after a year with Getafe, The Athletic report that the Spanish outfit believe that United has triggered a 12-month extension clause in his contract in order to raise his transfer value this summer.
